Salty Chicas is a feel-good, empowering community for adventurous women who want to surf, try something new, and find their crew. It’s not just about surfing - although we absolutely love the ocean. It’s about creating a space where women can show up exactly as they are - you don’t need experience, you just need a little curiosity and an open heart.

Our women-only surf retreats

We host women-only surf retreats in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, in small, cozy groups of six to eight women. Most women arrive solo, which can feel a little scary at first - but they leave with real friendships. Our all-female team leads daily surf lessons, yoga, skate session, and island adventures - making sure everyone feels supported and confident. It’s a very encouraging, no-pressure environment.

More than just surfing

It’s also about the little things: staying together in a beautiful surf villa, sharing meals, laughing after a long day in the ocean, and creating that feeling of sisterhood. There’s something really powerful about a group of women cheering each other on - it creates such a strong bond.

At its core, Salty Chicas is about confidence, connection, and that pure joy you feel when you do something that scares and excites you at the same time. It’s about creating memories, building strong bonds, and reminding women how capable and powerful they really are. It’s really about riding waves, yes - but even more, it’s about riding them together.
