Hi, I’m Miki!

I created Salty Chicas to connect like-minded women on the island, sharing our passion for the ocean and inspiring new girls to join us in living the surfing dream.

From the start, my vision was to build a community where women could come together to ride the waves, form lasting friendships, and create and share these moments together.

I believe in the transformative power of surfing, the joy of shared experiences, and the strength of a welcoming community.

Our mission at Salty Chicas Surf Retreat is to create a welcoming space where women can enjoy the thrill of surfing, build meaningful relationships, and discover the joy of chasing new adventures together.

It’s a place where every woman feels supported, empowered, and leaves with a deeper connection to our Salty Crew.

We encourage each Salty Chica to celebrate her adventurous spirit and live the surfing dream with us.

Meet the Salty Team

    FOUNDER / HOST

    Miki is a wave chaser, and heart of the crew — started Salty Chicas to share her love for surfing and bring badass ocean women together. She’s the big-sister energy behind every session, always cheering you on and making sure the stoke stays high.

    SURF INSTRUCTOR

    Domi’s our powerhouse surf instructor with a heart full of sunshine and salt. Living the dream in Fuerteventura, she’s all about fun, flow, and helping every chica feel strong, stoked, and totally at home in the waves.

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Steffi brings calm, clarity, and cosmic vibes to the crew with her heart-led yoga, moon rituals, and intuitive magic. She's all about helping you slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with your wild, wonderful self – on and off the mat.

    SURF SKATE INSTRUCTOR

    Cyn’s the heart behind Surfskate Fuerteventura, turning passion into power and setbacks into comebacks. With fire, flow, and fierce determination, she teaches chicas to trust their boards, face their fears, and roll with courage.
